Lorenzo Bertelli got his car stuck in a snowbank during Rally Sweden, and it really showed just how much travel those suspensions have. The front tire, presumably having found a hole hidden beneath the snow, has disappeared straight down below the level of the snowbank. When I watched it on my phone I initially thought his wheel had somehow come off. I wonder what the official suspension travel of these cars is.

looking at the suspension droop I thought for sure they'd lost the wheel. cool video. 2wd rally does not look like too much fun in snow

Especially when the car wasn't designed to be 2 wheel drive. They lost the rear driveshaft halfway through the day. It probably contributed to the spin, and definitely contributed to not being able to back out of the snow
